Registered Nurses

Requirements
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse Licensure with the New York State Department of Education. BLS, ACLS & PALS preferred. Minimum of one-year nursing experience. Bachelor of Science in nursing or bachelors degree in related field preferred.
 
 
Licensed Practical Nurse
Full time and part-time
 
Requirements
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Practical Nursing Licensure with the New York State Department of Education. Must be able to document in the patient’s records. Able to successfully pass the Pharmacology exam. CPR certified.
 
 
Certified Nurse Assistants   
Full time and part-time
 
Requirements
Completion of a certified nurse aide course.  Must be able to read and write at the eighth (8) grade level to document in the resident’s record.

Occupational Therapist
Part time and per diem positions available.
 
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by the AOTA. License or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York.  
 

Speech-Language Pathologist 
Part-time and per diem positions available.
 
Requirements
Masters degree in speech-language pathology or its equivalent, as determined by the department, in accordance with the commissioner’s regulations. NYS license (or license eligible) as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Patient Accounts Representative
Full-time

Requirements
To review, edit and submit bills to third-party payers and health insurance carriers for the hospital’s skilled nursing unit in a timely manner and in compliance with all Federal and State regulations. Maintaining follow up on aging claims within each collection group. Create statements in MatrixCare software and mail out. Assist Medicaid Pending residents and families with the Medicaid application process. Post payments and contractual adjustments. Keep tabs on Accounts Receivable and notify appropriate personnel of aged/risky accounts. Attend daily morning report to gain an understanding of current residents and be in the know of any pertinent information. Other duties assigned as necessary

Experience: Hospital or skilled nursing: 1 year (Required)
Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
