Registered Nurse (RN), Staff/Charge

Deliver comprehensive nursing care while providing clinical leadership across assigned departments. Help ensure safe, effective patient care through assessment, care planning, staffing support, and team guidance.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current NYS RN licensure; BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred; minimum one year of nursing experience; BSN or related bachelor’s degree preferred.

Highlights: Clinical leadership, patient assessment and care planning, staffing oversight, cross-department responsibility, supervision of LPNs/CNAs/Unit Secretary, facility-wide support when leadership is unavailable.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Staff

Provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse while helping uphold CMH nursing standards. Support patients and residents through medication administration, treatments, teaching, and participation in quality-focused care.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current NYS Practical Nurse licensure; CPR certification; successful completion of the pharmacology exam.

Highlights: Medication administration, treatments and patient teaching, resident care planning, quality assurance participation, charge nurse responsibilities, CNA supervision.

Registered Nurse (RN), Long-Term Care Charge/Staff

Provide comprehensive nursing care and clinical leadership on CMH’s Long-Term Care units. Support safe, effective elder care through assessment, admissions, documentation, medication administration, staffing oversight, and day-to-day team guidance.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current NYS RN licensure; BLS required; minimum one year of nursing experience; BSN or related bachelor’s degree preferred.

Highlights: Long-term care leadership, resident assessments and admissions, medication administration, staffing coordination, supervision of LPNs/CNAs/Unit Secretary, every-other-weekend RN coverage.

Reports To: LTC Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, Chief Clinical Officer.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

Requirements: Completion of a certified nurse aide course; ability to document at an eighth-grade reading/writing level; dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills.

QA/IP Manager

Education / Employee Health Manager
